Abstract

In this artica I study a set of guidelines in order to determine the Medieval Latin lyric role in the transmissión and adaptation of particular themes, forms and meters of the early vernacular lyric poetry. The evaluation results indicate that vernacular poetry was not as important to change the compositional strategies forged in the writing tradition, due in part to the mediation of the clerical community
